Robyn Gast

Head of Student Well-Being & Resilience

Robyn believes that student success is about more than academics – it’s about connection, belonging, self-awareness, and having someone in your corner. She takes the time to get to know each student as an individual, learning what motivates them, recognizing their unique strengths, and helping them build the confidence to move forward.

A strong believer in the importance of emotional intelligence, Robyn draws inspiration from the work of emotional intelligence researcher and author Dr. Marc Brackett. She helps students better understand and navigate their emotions, giving them practical tools to build confidence, manage challenges, strengthen relationships, and thrive both in college and beyond. Whether a student is celebrating an accomplishment, working through a challenge, or simply finding their place, Robyn is committed to being a trusted source of support, encouragement, and guidance. She believes that when students feel seen, understood, and supported, they are better equipped to discover their potential and create a college experience that is meaningful to them.

Robyn earned her master’s degree in social work from Florida State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at Kearney Center.
