Keith Slade
Cinematographer in Residence
Keith Slade is the Head of the Undergraduate Cinematography curriculum, a Tallahassee native, a die-hard Nole fan and an alumni of the third class to graduate from the MFA program here at the College of Motion Picture Arts.
Prior to joining the College full time, Keith founded Orlando Lighting & Grip, a successful lighting & grip company filming and gaffing over a dozen films and countless commercials, industrials and even a space shuttle launch.
While working at the school, he was able to continue his professional work, on three films, one of which, War Room, went on to become the 4th highest grossing Christian film in history. He discovered his love of teaching young filmmakers over 21 years ago and has never looked back.
