Elena Steinbach

Elena Steinbach serves as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts.

Elena earned her B.S. in Business – Marketing from Florida State University in December 2021. A lifelong musician, her deep appreciation for cinema blossomed during her undergraduate years while attending midnight screenings at the Askew Student Life Center (ASLC).

She first merged her marketing acumen with her love for the arts by volunteering with local independent label Cat Family Records, where she utilized graphic design, social media strategy, and direct community outreach to elevate regional artists. This formative experience ignited a lifelong passion for arts advocacy and storytelling.

Today, she channels that creative drive into her role at FSUFilm, amplifying the voices, achievements, and unique creative pursuits of the college’s student and alumni filmmakers. Outside of her professional work, Elena remains deeply embedded in the local scene, investing in her own artistic expression as the bassist for the Tallahassee-based rock band Bite Marks.
