Brenda Mills

Brenda has a B.A. in Radio/TV/Film and an M.A. in Marketing from the University of Georgia. She has worked as a writer and editor most of her adult life. Before she joined the film school she ran FC2, a small press that publishes experimental fiction. She has taught copyediting, literature, business, writing, typing and geography at various times, and she has written for a number of magazines and newspapers. When she was a teenager, she had a job as an editor of “fotonovels” for the short-lived Fotonovel Corporation, which afforded her the opportunity to watch all of the movie Grease on the Paramount lot, without sound, about 500 times, as she gathered the frames that best told the story. She was also the live-in cook for the record producer Richard Perry. After that she hightailed it out of LA and has lived in the South ever since.
