Introduce yourself briefly and tell me a little bit about your background. Are you an MFA or BFA?
I’m an MFA directing student. I am a military brat, having lived in 3 countries and 7 different locations. I also received my undergraduate degree at FSU.

Who is your favorite Filmmaker and What is your favorite movie?
Kathryn Bigelow. Crimson Peak

What are you currently working on?
In post-production for my D2, Affirmative Defense while also writing the feature to my thesis film, Metamorphosis.

What does your typical day look like?
When I’m not stressing about film, you can find me at a local coffee shop writing scripts.

What has been the best part of film school so far?
Building a family with my fellow classmates.

Which faculty member has made the greatest impression on you and how?
Julianna Baggott because she is absolutely goated and helps you become a better writer by challenging your storytelling abilities.

What do you think someone applying to the program should know about the FSU Film School?
There’s quite a bit of physical activity so don’t be afraid to ask for help! Always rely on your peers to help you!

Favorite Film School Moment?
I built a hallway lighting rig with Maya Brown (MFA ‘23) and Morgan Miller (MFA ‘22) by hanging Aperature bulbs to a ceiling with fishing line. It was hard but fun!

I’m probably on set or in the post hall with Raven Carter, Maya Brown, and Valery Garcia
