Fred Salancy

Fred Salancy is the Assistant Dean of the College of Motion Picture, Television and Recording Arts. He works with Dean Patterson to strategically find resources that will sustain the Film School for generations to come, and works closely with the Dean’s Alumni Council, the Film School’s Community Resource Council, and the Producers Guild. Fred also serves as the Assistant Dean of Fine Arts for the FSU Foundation. He is also responsible for overseeing the fundraising activities of all the Fine Arts programs at FSU including the College of Visual Arts, Theatre and Dance, and the College of Music. Fred holds a Master of Arts degree in Acting and Directing and a Master of Fine Arts degree in performance.
